(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The country’s Quranic Sciences Faculties are to admit students at PhD level in the near future, rector of Quran Sciences and Culture University of Awqaf said.
According to the public relations and international affairs of Awqaf Organization, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Raghebi also stated that there are currently 14 faculties of Quranic sciences organized as Quran Sciences and Culture Faculty in which about 3000 students are now studying at BA and MA levels.
“Admission of students for PhD level will prepare qualified students to later join the academic board of the faculties,” he added.
Stressing the fact that the profound influence of the holy Quran can be manifested in people’s speech and conduct, he noted that winners of different Quranic contests can apply to Quranic sciences faculties without having to take any entrance exams.
